Blossom Hill: A social networking dark horse

When tasked with promoting Blossom Hill Ladies’ Day 2011, the premier style event of the year, the pressure was on to come up with an equally befitting and engaging facebook application. The result was a fabulous competition that invites teams of three glamorous gal-pals to enter for a chance to win the Ultimate Ladies Day Out.

So far there have been over 1,000 entries. To enter the 3 lovely ladies must submit their most glamorous facebook photos, a snazzy team name and assign a Blossom Hill wine characteristic that best describes their team. Plus, weekly questions are sent out to keep up engagement levels and increase their chance of winning.

The winning threesome receives a VIP style experience, staying at a boutique hotel, being pampered like princesses and arriving at the event in true style.

Then, on the day of the event, Off the Rails presenter Brendan Courtney, hat designer, Michael Leong and Sharon Corr will award the Best Dressed Lady with an unforgettable €10,000 holiday to California’s stunning Napa Valley – home of Blossom Hill. All in all, an innovative social marketing strategy brought to life in a glamorous fashion.
