Pure Wexford Beef!

Around the world, Aviva’s comms portray “one satisfied customer after another” – a platform successfully leveraged in in the UK (by our sister agency AMV BBDO) with a long-running TV campaign featuring comedian Paul Whitehouse in various guises.

Earlier this year, Aviva here in Ireland teamed up with us to create a campaign appropriate to the Irish market and the company’s position within it. The insurance landscape here has seen big changes in recent times, with new challenges and new challengers –  and in the latter half of 2012 Aviva was ready to engage in an aggressive drive for share with strong offers and unsurpassed service standards.

Our campaign sees Today FM’s gifted Mario Rosenstock play a number of very different happy customers, starting with “Greyhound Dave”. By getting his car insurance from Aviva, Corkonian Dave saved enough to build his beloved greyhounds a bespoke training facility in his garden shed.

Meanwhile “Rugby Tom” is a dyed-in-the-wool rugby fan (who was a tidy player in his day, don’t you know). By buying his car insurance from Aviva, Tom saved enough to help bring his beloved grandkids to a game in the Aviva – and to kit them out in “suitable big match attire”. Cue the mini-me sheepskins.

We’ve rolled the campaign out across TV, online, outdoor and press inserts. Watch this space for further satisfied customers…
